Mini Sessions are NOT available for out of town clients. Clients must be in a 20 mile radius of Monroe, LA for an on location mini session.
There is a minimum order requirement of $200 on all sessions.
Your session fee includes Shannon’s time and talent; a customized shoot; artistic processing of each image; and portraits presented in a private online ordering gallery.
The session fee does not include your images, either digital or printed; these are purchased separately.
All clients pay the session fee to commission Shannon for their portraits, and may then choose their portraits from the a la carte prices or select from our collections.
Session fees are due at booking and are non-refundable. If for any reason you can not keep your appointment, notify me within 24 hours to reschedule.
Sessions & products are subject to 8% sales tax.
YOUR SESSION
I am a photographer that specializes in on-location shoots. My lighting style is a mix of natural light and artificial. If you have a specific location in mind where you would like your session to take place, please let me know. If you are not sure, or have a general inspiration for the look of your portraits, I can recommend a location.
HOW I WORK
I am very flexible and relaxed when I do a shoot. I want you to feel as comfortable as possible and most importantly, have fun! I want to capture real emotions, real moments, nothing fake. That sometimes takes time, and I do everything in my power to achieve that result! My goal is to give you portraits that are truly expressive of the subject(s). No cookie cutter style or cheesy half smiles here! Sessions can last anywhere from thirty minutes to one and half hours, depending on the number of people, clothing changes, and the location(s).
I am more than happy to help with coordinating your look if you are unsure of what to wear. I prefer that no clothing with logos or clashing patterns be worn. I promise you will appreciate the results of your session much more if these are avoided.

AFTER THE SESSION
After your session your images will be placed in a password protected, on-line viewing gallery. Your viewing gallery will be available within 14 days from the date of your session. Once your gallery is ready, you will be contacted with the information you need to view your photographs. At that point, we can schedule an in person ordering session for you as well! Most of my clients prefer this method so that they can get their hands on products, and see everything in person. It really helps with the decision process! You are more than welcome to share your gallery with friends and family who may place an order as well. Your personal gallery will be available for 14 days to place your order. After that time period, there will be a 25.00 fee to make that gallery available for viewing again.
DISCLAIMER: Due to variations in computer monitor color, what you see on your monitor may not be what the image will look like when printed. My monitor is calibrated for printing with my labs. From personal experience, I’ve noticed that most monitors are brighter than my monitor. If you have any concerns and would like to see your images in true color before you place your order, you may set up an appointment (I can come to you or you can come to my home) to place your order in person. This is a courtesy to my (local) clients so there will be no fee for doing this.
