Hi! I’m Shannon Luther. Along with my wonderful husband, Cliff, we are the creators/photographers/owners/etc. etc. of Shannon Luther Photography. Here are some little tid bits about us outside of photography that make up our personality/life/interests/etc. etc.

My favorite color is blue.
I’m some what of a tomboy, but I go through phases where I’m girlie.
I can’t stand staples in the carpet. Drove me nuts at every new job.
I love kitty cats and puppy dogs! Fuzzy critters have my heart.
I absolutely can’t wait to have children especially a little girl.
I love playing with my husband’s hair. Making it spiky, doing a fo-hawk, etc. I accidentally shaved all his hair one time trying to save us money on a hair cut. I vowed never to do that again!
A dog brought us together. He was my english bulldog and then he was ours. We recently had to find him a good home since our new apartment wouldn’t allow big dogs.
But we know he is well taken care of and loved over in Mississippi with a fellow photographer and her family.
I’m forever on a diet. Can’t seem to stay on one long enough to do anything.
I love Jeep Wranglers!! I have since I was 11 years old. Regretted trading my 97 in for a Grand Cherokee, but we recently corrected that. I’m in a nice 4 door Wrangler now. :) Plenty of room for all my props…oops said I wasn’t going to mention photography stuff…kind of hard to do when it’s such a huge part of my life.
I loathe reptiles and amphibians! I swear they are out to get me. When we lived in south Louisiana for about a year, we lived in a bottom floor apartment (brand new apartments mind you). One summer day, I was doing my normal routine in the morning and I was getting ready to go to the bathroom when I noticed a huge frog in the toilet bowl!!! I will forever check the toilets before I sit!!
I love home!! Home is Northeast Louisiana.
CLIFF {THE HUSBAND/BUSINESS PARTNER}
(this is all based on my perception of Cliff-I’ll have to get him to include a little excerpt)
Cliff loves to cook (but only if it’s his recipes or something new he found). Every day mundane cooking get’s old (it seems).
He could care less what type of vehicle he drives as long as it’s dependable.
He prefers to try to do things ourselves first then if we fail have a professional come fix our boo boo (this rarely happens because he’s pretty handy).
Cliff looks like a Abercrombie/American Eagle/Hollister model when he’s all dressed up. He doesn’t believe this about himself and I’ve taken full advantage of that…lol.
He is attending ULM currently to earn his Master’s in Arts for Teaching (recently he has transferred to Louisiana Tech University for the same Master’s program). By the way we both graduated from ULM back in 2007.
Cliff loves cutsie little animals too, but don’t tell him I told you
Every once in a while I’ll hear him in the living room talking to our kitten. Saying she’s a pretty little girl and sweet things when he doesn’t know I’m listening.
He is a caring person that would do anything for the ones he loves.
This man can put some food away!! Which is probably why my portions have increased since we first started dating.
Cliff wants to become a professor, and I know he’ll do it. He also wants to become President, but I don’t want him to do that.
He’s good at anything he puts his mind to. This can get frustrating as I have always been average at pretty much everything.
He loves so much (not things, just love)!
